March 2010 News and Updates

I am proud to announce that Eubanks Software has just released its 4th
Android application, "Grecian Ideal". Grecian Ideal is a health and
fitness application that will track your body measurements and compare
them to idealized proportions for 'normal' people. Everyone is always
saying they want to get bigger or smaller and they're never satisfied
with where they are at. Why train so much when you have no absolute
measurements to compare yourself with?
Grecian Ideal will take
your
body into account and give you personalized results that tell you
exactly what proportions your body parts should be so that you look
your best! Not only will it tell you those proportions but it will also
track your progress over time as you aim to make your body look like
that of a Greek god.
Purchase Grecian Ideal on the Android Market for the low price of $1.29

I have just taken the Daily Burn application off the market due to
a complaint from Daily Burn, Inc. about some kind of copyright issue.
As of right now, this shouldn't affect anyone that has already
downloaded the application but I will not be re-publishing it. Since I
have received a lot of great feedback from users who did download it,
I'm sorry to those who were a little late. As an alternative, the
iPhone website can be accessed on any device at
http://www.dailyburn.com/iphone/
so you can just bookmark that link and create a shortcut on your home
screen for that bookmark. (There are also some great apps on the market
that allow you to choose icons for your bookmarks so that you can use
any icon of your choosing, the icon .png that was used for the
application can easily be found by searching Daily Burn Icon on
Google.). Many browser also support iPhone user-agents (Dolphin Browser
to be one) that can also be used to access this content until they
decide to allow android users to be able to access their mobile content
by default.

I am proud to announce the latest application to be published on the
Android Marketplace, Daily Burn for Android. This is not an official
Daily Burn application but gives android users the same ease of use of
iPhone users have when it comes to using Daily Burn's amazing services.
All credit goes to Daily Burn, Inc. Please visit

PLEASE READ:
Eubanks Software has begun to work on its 3rd android application! This
application is going to be a reference handbook of sorts and I am very
excited to begin work on the project as there is nothing like it at a
low price point available on Android Market today and will personally
be able to make use of it everyday. As of right now, the only device
that we have to test our applications is a Motorola Droid running API
level 7 (2.1) and so the only devices that we can guarantee works with
applications as intended are the Motorola Droid and Nexus One. Because
so many users are still working with previous versions of Android, even
as far down as 1.5, we do allow our applications to be installed on
these phones and adjust our applications accordingly based on our
experiences emulating devices with those API levels and screen sizes.
To provide better quality to our current and future applications we are
asking for your help as we move forward and purchase a developer phone.
Developer phones are very valuable assets to any Android
developer and will help our testing process move at a much faster rate
but they are rather expensive for someone who has just started
developing on the Android platform (ranging from $329.99 to $499.9). We
are looking for anyone that might want to donate to help us purchase
such a device OR if you have an old Android device that you are no
longer using (a G1, MyTouch, Droid Eris, Hero, or similar). Please
contact me at neubanks89@gmail.com if you have such a device or wish to
donate anything above the amounts listed in the donation box below.
THANK YOU!
