We
have received several negative ratings/comments on the Android Market
lately due to a lack of support for other countries educational systems.
We would love to include support for a wide variety of systems with all
their distinctions and differences but we only have experience with how
the US educational system works and no one who has negatively reviewed
the app has has responded to our request for information about how we
can make the app better. Therefore from today forward, Grades: Student
Organizer will only be available for download in the United States. We
can't afford to continue to get negative reviews from customers outside
the US. If you have questions, concerns, or would like to purchase the
app but cannot due to it only being available in the US please contact
us at contact@androidinfinity.com.
Also, please email us before giving us negative comments on the Market
if you have some kind of technical issue, most of those that are sent in
are easily resolved within minutes. It takes a lot longer to resolve
them through market comments and it gives potential users a skewed view
of the app. Thanks

Android Infinity is a little ahead of schedule on version 2.0 of Grades: Student Organizer and published it to the market early this morning. We wanted to get
this version out because it was what the app was originally intended to
look like and we want it available at the start of the Fall semester for
all the students out there.
This new version includes an all new user interface that is much easier to use and is more visually appealing.
Most of the version 1.x updates were all about feature additions and now
we give you a new "dashboard" style UI similar to that of
Facebook and Twitter's apps where all major features are only a press
away. Along with this update comes the final version of the Privacy Mode
which has been given its own section on the dashboard that allows you
to easily Lock (password protect) or Unlock the app. When the
Lock is enabled, each section of the app past the dashboard will require
a password for entry.
Also to note is that this version is FULLY working on Android 1.6 through 2.2!
Some
of you may also be wondering where theme support went, unfortunately we
had to remove theme customization in version 2.0 because the new UI,
but once we make sure that everyone has gotten used to the new layout we
will be incorporating customization options. All the data you have
input will be safe when updating from version 1.5.1 to version 2.0 so
don't worry. We didn't include any new features as far as the actual
calculations and inner working of the app is concerned because we want
everyone to get used to the new UI first but several cool feature
additions are coming soon!
Also to note is that this version is FULLY working on Android 1.6 through 2.2!

UPDATE: We also published a bug fix patch for Keep Tabs Debt Management that fixes the app not closing correctly.

Android Infinity would like to show you a glimpse of what we've been working on in our Grades: Student Organizer App.
It has only been a few short months since we released version 1.0 and
have been updating weekly with enhancements and feature additions. We
are already deep into working on the next major version, have put
together the first development build and have a screenshot to show our
users to get them excited about the future of the app. This is by no
means a finished product but a good preview of the user interface
enhancements we're working on. This "dashboard" style UI is the current
Android standard for apps of this nature and makes the app even more
easy to use. We will update the Grades section of the website with other
screenshots in the future but expect a release sometime this August or
September.

Grades: Student Organizer
has just been updated on the Android Market. This update include
various fixes and the addition of custom color theme support! You can
now change the way you want your Grades app to look.
URGENT:
More and more phones are starting to be upgraded to Froyo or Android
2.2. Froyo currently has a bug where it will delete user data on
upgrading an app and Grades: Student Organizer is affected by this bug.
If you have Android 2.2 installed on your phone and are coming from ANY
Grades: Student Organizer version prior to 1.5 PLEASE BACKUP YOUR PROFILE via the utilities menu in the app BEFORE you update to version 1.5 otherwise your current profile WILL BE DELETED!
We
have implemented a workaround in the app in version 1.5 so that this
bug will not affect any users upgrading from version 1.5 to any future
version that we release so you will not have to worry about having to
backup your profile before every update from here out.

Today
we are going to be updating both Keep Tabs and Grades as we continue to
strive to support all the different varieties of Android devices. These
updates are maintenance releases and add better landscape support so
that users of devices like the Motorola Charm (to be released) will be
able to use our apps without worry. We have updated our apps a lot in
the past week with Android announcing the new licensing service and
also continued feature improvements by us and we understand that having
to update apps all the time can get frustrating. This should be the
last update for a while until more feature rich updates are produced in
the coming months.
